If you find yourself in the obscure destination of LaPorte, Indiana you gotta eat at Mucho Mas!
They have so many fresh yummy options: gluten free, meatless, vegan choices.
I like to get a taco plate: you can choose 1, 2, or 3 tacos with a side of rice and black or pinto beans. The fried tilapia taco is a must for me. The tacos are generously stuffed, two fill me up.
I like their little bar of salsa, limes, cilantro and onions, etc.
Cute interior; exposed brick and graffiti-esque menu board. Friendly and accommodating service. Good to dine in or carry out.

My girlfriend and I were in town and went by to get some dinner before going out to New Buffalo and decided to swing by here because of how good the reviews were. We were sadly disappointed by this place unfortunately. I'm not one to write reviews often but this was so poor that i felt it was warranted.
We each got a 3 taco plate and they mixed up the ingredients we each wanted. Also put cheese on things when we both specifically requested no cheese. But we are used to that happening so we scraped through but unfortunately the chicken tacos were cold, and with very little taste. Steak tacos, which cost more were actually inedible. The steak was rubbery and hard in some spots.
I really hate writing these types of reviews but when your order is not only messed up but inedible. I don't know about you but I really want to be able to eat the food I order. So disappointing.

Just went in and bought some food... didn't have to wait too long, but on the weekend the staff doesn't seem to be as attentive as they are during the week...one employee was more concerned about her cell phone than the fact that there were a ton of little flies buzzing all around the salsa bar.  Not sure who is in charge or owns the place but I don't think they were there today or on most weeknds.  Food is almost always very good, but the issues I saw today don't necessarily make me want to go back there.

Food good ish...place, In one word, Undesired...clean restaurant, millennial design in my opinion. Now I'm not gonna rag on it. The food is good and fresh. The restaurant is cold and quiet...staff is quite, they did their job...
Guacamole is great!!!!! Portions are WONDERFUL
The shredded chicken seems to be made with cinnamon, personally not a fan but it's other wise good. Was the food good yes, would I go back eh probably not, just because it's not my style

Wow, I have to say, so far this is my favourite spots to eat in Laporte. I really love to see creative people bring their talents to how they prepare food. I love nothing more than traditional Mexican cuisine, however when you take something traditional and add an artistic flair to it, you get food like the food at Mucho Mas. The restaurant is a sit down down, but you order your food first. The nachos are very very good, and they have a station where you can get different sauces and salsa for your nachos. I tried the black bean soup, although thick and heavy for a summer dish it was very good, and filling. I ordered three different tacos as the funny girl behind the counter suggested. My three were pork, beef and chicken tacos in three different styles. All were exceptional, and my plate also came with beans and rice. You won't go hungry at Mucho Mas!! I do recommend this place and will be back when I'm in the area again.
